The Primary Health Organisation (PHO) Performance Programme was designed to improve the health of enrolled populations and reduce inequalities in health outcomes throughout New Zealand. It aims to do this through supporting clinical governance and rewarding quality improvement within PHO. Rotorua Area Primary Health Services (RAPHS) delivers the PHO Performance Programme on behalf of Health Rotorua PHO.
RAPHS (formerly known as Rotorua General Practice Group) joined the PHO Performance Management Programme in January 2006. General Practices in the RAPHS network use regular feedback on their achievements against performance indicators to continue implementing changes and improvements to their clinical practice.
